What we did
After the huge success of the Salisbury Christmas Market website, we were approached by the Salisbury BID and tasked with redesigning them a new website, company branding and company logo.
Following an initial consultation, we realised that the team wanted a fully responsive website to provide a better website engagement and to inspire new visitors to Salisbury along with showcasing the new branding of the BID and new logo. The website needed to showcase the city of Salisbury in order to generate more footfall into the City whilst also promoting some of the local shops, businesses and accommodations available locally.
We worked closely alongside the team at the Salisbury BID to provide a strong user experience which meant a simple navigation for all website visitors. We also had to ensure that we made a mobile-friendly, responsive website which was just as good when viewed on a mobile phone as on an iPad or desktop. The site was developed in Joomla and is simple for the client to update and add new events and information for the City of Salisbury.
What the client said
“Blue Bee have recently designed and built Salisbury BID a new website and it went live just before Christmas. We had some very clear ideas of how we wanted our website to look like and we have been pleasantly surprised at the new design which added many dimensions that we hadn’t thought of. As an organisation where a clear record of our achievements is visible, we had some important criteria and we wanted a site that as well as being properly designed, appeared concise, clear and crisp whilst portraying us professionally and in the best light.
An important aspect for our members, was the facility of being able to simply navigate around the website and as a small very busy team, we are all very busy and it was vitally important to us was that the new website could provide our uniqueness yet be easy for us to update and keep populated. We set the Blue Bee team a challenging brief which they took on board and are delighted with the new website and what Blue Bee have achieved for Salisbury BID.”
